I love the Law. I am a local guy (Well, as local as I can be). I came to DC when I was 13, after born and raised in New York. I am a proud member of the Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc. and went to the first HBCU in West Virginia. Father of 5 and a dog lover. What else can I say? Want more information? Just ask.
We have been criminal lawyers for over 22 years. Our practice was primary in the District of Columbia; however, we have been doing more and more cases in Montgomery and Prince George’s County in the last ten years. We strive to do quality work, and our primary objective is to make sure clients are satisfied with our work.
After graduating from law school, I was selected as a Covington and Burling Westwood Fellow with Neighborhood Legal Services. Immediately after my fellowship ended, I pursued my passion as a criminal defense lawyer. I have been a criminal defense lawyer since January 1997. I understand how to defend against serious charges effectively. I serve clients throughout the District of Columbia, the Federal court of the District of Columbia, and Maryland. I have tried over 32 jury trials and thousands of bench trials. I have been on the Criminal Justice Act Panel since 1997. I have the legal knowledge to understand the complexities of any criminal case and trial experience to defend the accused’s rights aggressively. I love advocating for the underdog, which is why I probably love being a criminal defense lawyer.
My primary practice is criminal law. Here is a break down of the area of practice. Feel free to visit our firm about us page. We practice in DC Superior Court as well as Prince George’s County, Montgomery County, Charles County, and southern Maryland counties.
